No 665.
My Lord,
65 END
GOVERNMENT HOUSE,
HONGKONG, 30th December, 1930.
I have the honour to inform Your
Lordship that, owing to a temporary injury to my knee,
necessitating my being confined to my bed for a few
days, I was unable to preside at the Executive Council meeting on Thursday, 18th December, 1930. I appointed
Mr. E. R. Hallifax, acting Colonial Secretary, to
preside in my absence.
As I had almost recovered from my
injury, I presided at the subsequent meeting of
Executive Council on the 29th December, and at a
meeting of the Legislative Council on the same date.
I have the honour to be,
My Lord,
Your Lordship's most obedient,
humble servant,
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE
LORD PASSFIELD,
&C., &c., &c.
عدا
Governor,
&c.
